Downloadable Greeting This feature allows customers to download pre-recorded company greetings to Nortel Messaging 100/150 systems remotely via dial-up or Ethernet access. CP Manager has been modified and now has “Downloadable Greeting” feature as one of the selections. Unified Messaging Client 2.5 Nortel Messaging 100/150 Release 3.0 supports the Unified Messaging Client 2.5 (except Citrix server support). The Release 3.0 CD contains both UM 2.5 and UM 2.01 clients. Park and Page from Mailbox Mailbox Park and Page provides the ability for external callers to page a mailbox owner while listening to the owner's personal greeting or while recording a message. The caller invokes this capability by pressing the digit 6. When the caller presses 6, the system will park the call and page to paging zone, overhead paging system or both. The page will be repeated based on the mailbox configuration until the parked call is picked up or until the park timeout occurs at which point the caller is returned to the mailbox greeting. Two CP 150 units on 1 KSU In order to increase the number of voice channels, Nortel Messaging will support a new configuration whereby customers can connect 2 Nortel messaging 150 units to a single KSU. One unit will run voicemail and the other unit will run Enhanced Call Center . This approach will essentially increase the number of voice channels to 16.
